Betrayal pours a deep amber color with a creamy lasting head. Aromas of tropical fruit and orange blossom mingle with caramel and toasted malts. A juicy burst of stone fruits and citrus balance the sharp notes of fresh rye bread. With a bready backbone and balanced bitterness, Betrayal has bright body that finishes softly.

Food Pairing

For the carnivore, Korean short ribs and honey roasted chicken will bring out the sweet caramel malts in this Imperial Red Ale. When pairing with cheese, a triple cream will compliment Betrayal’s marmalade tang. Try savory crepes with brie or truffle grilled cheese sandwiches to accompany the toasted malts. For dessert pair Betrayal with peach cobbler and vanilla ice cream to bring out the juicy stone fruits.
